Kalimah Arabic (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and processes data solely to deliver our App’s functionality. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

 

 

2. Data Collected & Processing

 

• Text and Voice Inputs: Sent directly to OpenAI for processing. We do not store this data.

• Device Identifier: Temporary anonymous token used for anti-abuse checks via our aiProxy service and Apple’s DeviceCheck. These are anonymised and not personally identifiable.

• IP Address / Network Data: Used only to secure sessions; not stored.

• We do not collect personal identifiers, location data, or analytics data.

 

 

3. How We Use Your Data

 

Data is processed only to provide translation, voice interactions, and abuse prevention. All data is transmitted via HTTPS/TLS.

 

 

4. OpenAI’s Data Handling

 

OpenAI processes your inputs according to their API Data Usage Policy, including temporary logging for abuse prevention. We retain no data.

 

 

5. Legal Basis

 

Under GDPR/UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b), data processing is necessary to fulfill the contract for providing App services.

 

 

6. Data Sharing

 

We only share data with:

 

• OpenAI, for translation and conversation processing;

• aiProxy, for anonymised device validation;

• Apple, for anonymous device validation using DeviceCheck.

  We do not share any data with advertisers or for marketing purposes.

 

 

7. Children’s Privacy

 

Rated 4+. We do not collect persistent personal data, display ads, or profile users. If you suspect your child’s data was collected, contact us.

 

 

8. Your Rights

 

• GDPR/UK GDPR: You have rights to access, rectify, erase, object, restrict, and portability.

• CCPA/CPRA: You have rights to know, delete, and opt-out of “sale/sharing.” We do not sell or share personal information as defined by CPRA.

  Most requests have limited effect since no personal data is stored, but we will confirm and respond accordingly.

 

 

9. Security

 

We implement reasonable technical safeguards (e.g., HTTPS, minimal data handling), but cannot guarantee complete protection.

 

 

10. Changes to This Policy

 

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app and on our website.
